Here she is emerging from the loom. She is called ‘Fortis’ you can go and see her in the flesh @gracefield_art_centre as part of the @britishtapestrygroup 20th anniversary exhibition. ![]()
What a fabulous show loads of work by so many tapestry weavers from around the world. It was an exciting weekend at the opening and talks of which I was one of the speakers. ![]()
I love weaving my portraits. They start out as a sketch and drawing and painting but when I weave them they become another person entirely. ![]()
